Cupcake Decoration (kids or adults)Cookie Decoration (kids or adults)Cake Pops Create and Decorate (kids or adults) Intro to Pastillage (adults)Learn the basics of making and working with pastillage (gum paste) to create basic berries, leaves and simple flowers.Advanced Pastillage (adults)Building off of the skills learned in Intro to pastillage, this class focuses on more complex flowers such as roses and orchids and teaches arrangment and design. Working with Molds (adult) Learn how to make and use molds to create sugar gem stones, lace, pearls and seashells.Private Lessons:$400 for one 5-hour class$800 for two 5-hour classes (two separate days)*You may share with a guest for an additional charge of $200 for materials.Private Parties (2-3 hours):$125 per person, with a minimum of 4 people and maximum of 12 people.All cakes, frostings and icings are made prior to the class. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies, please let us know. Students should wear comfortable closed-toed shoes (you will be standing for most of the class), and be sure to minimize jewelry (no large rings or bracelets) to ensure that hands will be free. All hair must be pulled back. There is no need to bring any equipment for class; we provide everything. We do suggest students bring a small note pad, pen and camera.

FAQ How do I order a cake?To start the order process, please send an email to info_melitafiorecakes.com containing all the following information: • the date of your event • the occasion/nature of your event (wedding, bat mitzvah, etc)• the event location, delivery address, and delivery time• how many people you will need to serve• your daytime phone number• your email address•an idea of what kind of cake design you are looking forWe will contact you to to discuss your order.We do not have any cakes pre-made for sale. Every cake we make is custom made to order from start to finish.How much are your cakes? Because all of our cakes are priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list. Prices start at $8 dollars per serving.What's your payment policy?A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due at least two weeks prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until we have received your signed contract and 50% non-refundable deposit.Payment can be made by cash or check. Cake orders placed with less than two weeks notice require payment in full at the time of ordering. Deposits are non-refundable.If you cancel your order, your balance payment is refundable provided Melita Fiore Cakes is notified at least five (5) business days prior to the event. There is no payment refund on orders canceled within five (5) business days of the event.Event dates are held for you through the date of your quote, and five (5) business days afterwards. If we do not receive a signed contract and 50% deposit within five (5) business days of your quote, your date may become unavailable.Do you deliver?Delivery is available for wedding cakes and cakes. We do not ship our cakes.Delivery within 1 hour from Boston is included in the cost of the cake. Longer deliveries require a fee of $75 dollars for each additional hour of delivery time.Our delivery range is roughly 4-6 hours from Boston.Longer deliveries are occasionally arranged, but must be determined on a case-by-case basis.
